Local Plan-Key Issues
  • In March 2000, copies of a detailed Key Issues report will be available for inspection at one-stop shops, public libraries and the Council offices. This sets out what the Council is trying to achieve for each of the major topics covered by the plan, the key issues and the Council's approach.
  • Consultation on the key issues document will last until the end of April.

    All comments already sent to Council regarding the local plan so far and in response to the key issues document will be taken into account in producing the     First Deposit Plan.
  • The First Deposit plan is a guide to all forms of development in the Borough and identifies sites which the Council is promoting for different types of development. Any modifications which the Council makes in response to comments received in the First Deposit plan will be published in the form of a Revised Deposit plan early next year.
